This cutter-rigged vessel is a Rival 41 and was specifically designed for ocean cruising. She was built to carry her crew in the utmost safety and comfort to any destination in the world and offers a luxurious standard of accommodation unequalled by other sail training schools, with voluminous cabin space, hot and cold water and warm air central heating ducted to each cabin. Navigation facilities include full electronic instrumentation with GPS, radar and Navtex. All yachts are fully equipped to comply with the D.t.i Code of Practice for commercial vessels and are inspected annually by a representative of the Maritime and Coastguard Agency, thus ensuring the highest safety standards. Our pupil/instructor ratio of a maximum of five to one allows an abundance of space for all the crew.
